Jamie Hart brings more than 40 years of hands-on experience in the marine industry, specializing in marina operations, senior management, consulting, and public-sector project delivery. A Certified Marina Manager (CMM) since 1995 and long-standing member of the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), he has worked extensively with municipalities across Florida, including the City of Fort Lauderdale and City of St. Petersburg.
Widely regarded as “one of the most qualified professionals in the industry,” Jamie has earned recognition from respected marine leaders, including the late Robert O. Cox, former Fort Lauderdale City Commissioner and Mayor, often referred to as the “grandfather” of the city’s marine industry.
Throughout his career, Jamie has held senior roles including Marine Consultant, Grant Writing Specialist, Marina Supervisor, and Marina Harbor Director, consistently improving marina operations, infrastructure, safety, and long-term asset performance.
Jamie has successfully secured over $11 million in public grant funding across multiple departments for marina and waterfront improvement projects. These projects have included enhancements to boat launching facilities, docks, breakwaters, dredging operations, electrical service centers, recreational areas, mega-yacht dockage, and overall marina infrastructure.
In recent years, Jamie has expanded his professional practice to include expert witness services, providing expert analysis and testimony in complex marina-related litigation, including wrongful death and slip-and-fall cases involving marina operations and contractor performance.
